Production Supervisor – Pharmaceutical Secondary Packaging

About the role

The Production Supervisor oversees daily pharmaceutical secondary packaging, rebelling and redressing operations, ensuring efficiency, safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily, weekly and monthly repackaging plans aligned with commercial demand and inventory.
• Supervise line clearance, batch set‑up, in‑process control and changeovers to minimise downtime.
• Manage inventory of packaging components, conduct material reconciliation and control waste.
• Enforce SOPs, cGMP and GSDP standards, maintain accurate batch records and logs.
• Lead, train and schedule redressing staff, monitor productivity and ensure cleanroom hygiene.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, industrial engineering, supply chain, chemistry or related field.
• 3‑5 years experience in secondary packaging or production supervision in pharma/healthcare.
• At least 2 years of direct supervisory experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage variable workforce.
