Procurement & Shipment Operator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Procurement & Shipment Operator to support our purchasing and logistics functions in Phnom Penh. The role involves sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely customs clearance for imported items.

Key responsibilities

• Explore new markets and sources for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotations, perform quote analysis and obtain management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Update and maintain supplier, price and product databases.
• Resolve issues such as defects, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders and service contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearance.
• Ensure proper documentation and record retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in procurement, shipment handling and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English.
• Negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts is a plus.
