Procurement & Logistics Operator

About the role

The Procurement & Logistics Operator will support the sourcing, purchasing and customs clearance processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in exploring markets for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms for appropriateness.
• Obtain supplier quotes per approved purchase requests and prepare quote analyses for management approval.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to ensure ordered goods and services are delivered on time and in accordance with approved purchase orders or contracts.
• Update and maintain supplier and purchase‑price databases, including contact persons and addresses.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages or returns.
• Update work status to requestors and issue quotations, purchase orders or contracts for departmental approval.
• Ensure proper documentation and record retention for quotes, purchase orders and service contracts.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs departments to manage shipments and ensure timely customs clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs authorities and transport agents.
• Knowledge of procurement within the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of Cambodian customs, tax provisions and technical procurement processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team under strict deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
• English proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
