Procurement & Shipment Operator

About the role

The Procurement & Shipment Operator will support the sourcing, purchasing and logistics functions for the company. You will work closely with internal departments, suppliers and customs agents to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research to identify new suppliers for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery terms and payment conditions for appropriateness.
• Obtain supplier quotations, perform quote analysis and prepare documentation for management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to track order status and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Update and maintain supplier, price and contact databases.
• Handle issues such as defective goods, damages or returns.
• Issue purchase orders, contracts and quotations to relevant departments.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment handling and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong teamwork ability in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
