About the role
DFDL is seeking a Legal Intern for its Phnom Penh office. The role offers exposure to a multicultural environment and the chance to develop legal and administrative skills.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative and technical support to legal advisers.
- Liaise with government officers and prepare client correspondence, legal forms, and presentations in Khmer and English.
- Translate legal and regulatory documents between Khmer and English.
- Assist with filing, knowledge‑management resources, and general administrative duties.
Required profile
- Holder of a Bachelor of Law degree or a law student (year 1‑4).
- Fluent in speaking and writing Khmer and English.
- Good understanding of Cambodian business law and strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and internet research.
