About the role
iMerit is looking for proficient Khmer speakers to join its global remote team as Data Annotation Analysts. You will work on creating high‑quality training datasets for generative AI models across text, audio and image modalities.
Key responsibilities
- Annotate training data (text, audio transcripts, images) following strict project guidelines.
- Identify and report tool issues, bugs, or improvement ideas.
- Collaborate with Language Leads, Project Managers and technical teams to ensure quality standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in data annotation, linguistic data handling or related AI/ML projects.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and ability to work independently.
Required skills
- Proficiency with data annotation tools and platforms.
- Excellent reading comprehension in Khmer (CEFR B2 or higher).
- Familiarity with handling PII, NSFW content and NER‑related tasks.
