C Engineer – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced C Engineer to work remotely on an hourly paid basis. You will review AI‑generated C code, low‑level system designs, and technical explanations, while creating high‑quality reference implementations and step‑by‑step reasoning for complex engineering problems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and responses that guide AI learning.
• Optimize AI performance by evaluating and ranking AI responses for accuracy, fluency and relevance.
• Ensure model integrity by testing AI models for inaccuracies or biases and validating reliability across use cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience developing production software in C for systems, embedded or performance‑critical applications.
• Expert‑level proficiency in C, including deep knowledge of pointers, memory management, undefined behavior and low‑level debugging.
• Strong background in systems programming concepts such as concurrency, operating systems, hardware interaction and performance optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with build systems, compilers, linkers and debugging tools.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (written and spoken) and proven experience conducting detailed code reviews.
