Junior Officer – Accounting

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Officer – Accounting to join our finance team. The role offers hands‑on experience in processing supplier invoices, reconciling bank accounts and supporting month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and staff claims, ensuring all supporting documents are complete and accurate before payment.
• Maintain daily real‑time bank book tracking in Excel and perform regular account reconciliations.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendor and internal stakeholder queries on payments, invoices and reconciliations, responding within two business days and resolving the majority within three.
• File accounting documents digitally and physically in a timely manner.
• Provide tax‑related documentation for supplier invoices, including withholding tax, VAT, TOS and FBT.
• Assist with basic journal entries such as accruals, pre‑payments and adjustments as directed by senior staff.
• Offer ad‑hoc support to other finance team members as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or advanced coursework in finance/accounting).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Fresh graduate or candidate with limited professional experience.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
