Internal Auditor – Financial & Operational Audits

About the role

The Internal Auditor will conduct financial, operational and credit audits across the bank’s head office and branch projects. The role focuses on identifying risks, preventing fraud, and ensuring compliance with professional standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audits in line with internal audit programs, reviewing evidence, documenting control processes, and reporting findings.
• Conduct interviews, review documents, develop surveys, and prepare working papers and summary memos.
• Update audit programs and check‑lists, draft recommendations, and submit them for senior review.
• Maintain effective communication with management and staff in audited areas while preserving confidentiality.
• Follow the Bank’s Code of Conduct and report any violations or misconduct promptly.

Required profile

• University degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
• Good communication skills and the ability to ask probing questions to uncover root causes.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
