Insurance Project Manager for Climate Meso-Micro

About the role

The Insurance Project Manager will lead the design, implementation and oversight of climate and health insurance solutions in Cambodia. The role bridges strategic product development with field execution, ensuring regulatory compliance and multi‑stakeholder alignment to maximise impact for vulnerable communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop context‑relevant, compliant climate and health insurance products.
• Establish joint monitoring frameworks with local insurers and partners.
• Conduct field visits across target provinces to track distribution, collect feedback and resolve bottlenecks.
• Oversee baseline, mid‑term and end‑line impact studies and analyse performance data.
• Coordinate with compliance and legal teams to incorporate regulatory changes.
• Lead feasibility studies, risk profiling and market research for product design.
• Collaborate with actuaries, insurers and communities to co‑design micro and parametric insurance products.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance product design and project management.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian insurance regulations and compliance processes.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including insurers, regulators and community groups.
• Excellent analytical mindset for monitoring, impact assessment and iterative improvement.
