Insurance Project Manager – Climate Meso‑Micro

About the role

The Insurance Project Manager will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of climate and health insurance solutions for vulnerable communities in Cambodia. This position bridges strategic product development with on‑the‑ground execution, ensuring regulatory compliance and multi‑stakeholder alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop context‑relevant, compliant climate and health insurance products tailored to local market needs.
• Establish joint monitoring frameworks with insurers and partners to track product uptake, claim payouts, and field execution.
• Conduct regular field visits across target provinces to collect user feedback and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Oversee baseline, mid‑term, and end‑line impact studies measuring socio‑economic resilience and financial protection.
• Coordinate with compliance and legal teams to incorporate regulatory changes into project plans.
• Design and execute feasibility studies, risk profiling, and market research in collaboration with actuaries and local insurers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance product development or project management, preferably in micro or parametric insurance.
• Strong understanding of Cambodian insurance regulations and ability to work with regulatory bodies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑stakeholder partnerships and conduct field‑based monitoring.
• Excellent analytical skills for interpreting operational data and impact metrics.
