Information Technology Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an Information Technology Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technical solutions. The role involves gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements for enterprise‑level or government systems, ensuring clear communication between stakeholders and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive business, functional and system requirement documents (BRD, FRD, SRD) and maintain traceability from business need to delivery.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to capture functional and non‑functional requirements, including security, compliance, performance and availability.
• Perform change‑request analysis, impact assessment and update documentation accordingly.
• Deliver system demonstrations, create user stories, acceptance criteria and support UAT activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using project management tools such as Jira or Open Project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Project Manager or Systems Analyst.
• Experience with enterprise‑level or government IT projects and familiarity with project governance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Khmer.

Required skills

• Jira or similar issue‑tracking tools.
• Open Project or comparable project‑management software.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to create and interpret BPMN, flow diagrams and API flowcharts.
• Basic proficiency with AI‑assisted analysis tools (advantage).
