Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and quality standards across public, guest, and back‑of‑house areas. This role involves leading, training, and motivating a team while managing inventory, costs, and guest requests.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all areas are clean, well‑maintained and comply with health, safety and SOPs.
• Lead, train, coach and motivate housekeeping staff, including new hires.
• Manage linen, towels, uniforms and inventory to maintain required par levels.
• Control department costs, overtime and waste, and oversee key control procedures.
• Handle lost and found items, VIP and special guest requests.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and coordinate with other departments.
• Support hotel events, task‑force assignments and other duties as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in housekeeping supervision or similar hospitality role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to train and motivate a team.
• Ability to manage inventory, costs and maintain SOP compliance.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
