House Captain – Community Experience Lead

About the role

We are looking for a House Captain to own the day‑to‑day experience at Commune Live, our coliving community within the Rose Apple Square ecosystem. You will be the main point of contact for residents, ensuring the house runs smoothly, fostering connections and supporting the growth of occupancy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full resident journey from arrival and onboarding to departure, handling enquiries, requests and community issues.
• Build relationships with housemates, create simple rituals and touch‑points that strengthen belonging and encourage resident participation.
• Oversee resident communication channels such as WhatsApp and Spacebring and gather feedback to continuously improve the experience.
• Drive occupancy growth by managing enquiries, tours and bookings, maintaining the sales pipeline and identifying acquisition channels.
• Develop referral partnerships with universities, NGOs, relocation providers and local businesses, and support cross‑selling across Commune Work and Commune Gather.
• Collaborate with property‑management, maintenance and housekeeping teams to establish service standards, SOPs and community events.

Required profile

• Experience in community management, hospitality or coliving environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a calm, solution‑focused approach.
• Proactive attitude, able to identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives.
