Head of Finance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to provide strategic leadership and financial oversight across our accounting operations. The role focuses on accurate reporting, robust controls, regulatory compliance, and aligning finance with growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct accounts receivable clearance, reconciliations, aging and enforce credit policies to optimise cash flow.
• Lead month‑end close activities and general ledger reconciliations for all core accounts.
• Modernise and automate finance processes to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
• Oversee statutory and regulatory financial disclosures and ensure timely, penalty‑free filings.
• Lead external audit processes to achieve unqualified audit opinions.
• Support executive leadership with budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial analysis.
• Monitor debt covenants and ensure compliance with lender requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification (ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• Extensive progressive finance experience, including senior management or departmental leadership.
• Strong background in large corporate or audited business environments.

Required skills

• Expertise in financial accounting, management reporting, tax compliance and internal controls.
• Proven experience managing AR/AP functions, GL reconciliations and credit control frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise ERP and accounting software systems.
• Ability to drive process optimisation and financial automation.
