Head of Finance – Cambodia

About the role

Our client, a global leader in services, is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to build and lead the finance function in Cambodia. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director and working closely with the Country Director, you will ensure financial excellence across compliance, internal controls, and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit statutory financial statements and manage monthly close under IFRS.
• Oversee taxation compliance, annual returns and tax audits.
• Manage cash receipting, invoicing, AP, expense claims and payroll using digital P2P systems.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Conduct commercial and sales analysis to identify risks, opportunities and support performance improvement.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives and develop robust business cases with financial models.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, optimizing responsibilities for maximum value‑add.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy.
• 8‑10 years of experience leading finance functions in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Strong expertise in statutory compliance, taxation, FP&A and internal controls under IFRS.
