Facilities Management – Senior Officer

About the role

The Senior Officer of Facilities Management will lead the Facilities Management team and external service providers at the SME Cluster site in Takhmau. The role ensures 24/7 operational readiness, safety, and efficient maintenance of all buildings, infrastructure and services for tenants, users and the public.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee continuous operational readiness, security and safety of the SME Cluster facilities and infrastructure.
• Plan, execute and monitor cost‑effective maintenance programmes and regular upkeep schedules.
• Oversee a “one‑stop‑service” Facilities Service Window, ensuring tenant requests are responded to within 30 minutes and acted upon within 18 hours.
• Manage tenant fit‑outs to ensure compliance with cluster standards, statutory regulations and infrastructure requirements.
• Assist design and supervision of new facility construction, infrastructure connections, and equipment installations.
• Prepare and track the annual facilities maintenance and upgrade budget.
• Provide hand‑over training and operating instructions to tenants.
• Ensure compliance with the Environmental Management Plan, waste‑water treatment, emissions monitoring and other environmental obligations.
• Monitor security, traffic safety, fire protection and other safety systems.
• Maintain up‑to‑date as‑built documentation and approve vendor invoices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, infrastructure, and statutory compliance.
• Experience preparing and managing maintenance budgets.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and service providers.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with tenants, vendors and senior management.
