Executive Trainee – Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility

About the role

This Executive Trainee position focuses on sustainability and corporate responsibility within a banking environment. You will support the design and delivery of programmes that build capability, promote financial literacy, and engage youth, while aligning all activities with Maybank’s sustainability objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating the Building Capability & Capacity (BCC) programme, financial‑literacy workshops, and youth initiatives.
• Support the creation of marketing materials and campaigns for green financing, ensuring consistency with Maybank’s branding guidelines.
• Handle logistics for workshops and events, including venue booking, equipment setup, participant registration, and outcome tracking.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of events and alignment with project goals.
• Collect and analyse programme data, prepare detailed reports, and recommend improvements.
• Support day‑to‑day operational tasks such as payment processing and stationery management.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset with capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
