Executive, Sales Planning

About the role

The Executive, Sales Planning will act as the central liaison between commercial and manufacturing teams, ensuring that sales forecasts and supply capabilities are tightly aligned. This role supports the planning function by translating market demand into actionable supply plans and reporting on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate weekly plans between commercial and manufacturing functions to keep operations synchronized.
• Monitor daily sales changes and produce weekly forecasts.
• Process demand data in the ERP system and generate order recommendations.
• Distribute demand information to production, procurement, delivery and other supply‑side functions.
• Conduct field market visits and gather updates on market demand from the sales team.
• Prepare periodic market demand and supply capacity updates for the Manager, Planning and Analysis.
• Support planning and reporting activities for the function manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Research or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial or manufacturing operations (sales, production, procurement, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data preparation and reporting.

Required skills

• Project management capabilities including planning, risk assessment and conflict resolution.
• Working knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Experience with business intelligence and analytics software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
