Customs Specialist

About the role

LOKKA LOGISTICS is seeking a Customs Specialist to join its newly established team in Phnom Penh. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on managing import and export clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and providing clear communication to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with customs authorities to resolve issues and obtain clearances.
• Verify shipment details, monitor regulatory updates, and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate status updates and requirements to clients and internal teams.
• Identify opportunities to streamline customs processes for cost‑effectiveness and efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in customs brokerage and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in import and export operations and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with customs officials, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to analyze regulations and apply them to real‑world scenarios.
• Relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or trade compliance is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in logistics, international trade, business, or a related field preferred.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Phnom Penh and collaborate within a diverse team.
