Credit Risk Policy Review and Assurance Officer

About the role

The Credit Risk Policy Review and Assurance Officer supports the Risk Function by reviewing credit‑related frameworks, internal controls, new credit products, authorities and lending limits. The role provides clear, actionable recommendations to senior management and ensures that adverse findings are escalated to the appropriate governance committees.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and challenging credit governance, policies, processes, procedures and reporting structures.
• Support the assessment of internal control frameworks for credit‑related activities.
• Review and provide feedback on revisions to credit authorities and lending limits.
• Participate in technical implementation reviews and testing of new credit products prior to launch.
• Prepare and help escalate concerns or necessary adjustments arising from reviews, ensuring timely communication to governance bodies.
• Contribute to the development of the Credit Risk Management Division.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Risk Function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in banking credit operations, risk assurance, analytics, internal audit or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Khmer and English.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
