Incident Handling Officer

About the role

The Incident Handling Officer will investigate operational risk events and fraud alerts, providing timely analysis and recommendations to stakeholders. This position supports the bank’s risk management framework through thorough investigation, reporting, and training.

Key responsibilities

• Review and investigate operational risk incidents, identify root causes, and obtain action plans from process owners.
• Conduct fraud investigations, analyze complex transaction patterns, and escalate critical cases to management.
• Develop and deliver operational risk and fraud awareness training to staff.
• Prepare analytical reports for committees, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Propose improvements to risk management rules, reporting templates, and investigation technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or IT.
• At least one year of experience in risk management, audit, compliance, or AML/CFT.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in Khmer and English with the ability to make independent, ethical judgments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
