Country Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Country Manager to lead Vantage’s expansion in Cambodia. The role will be responsible for developing and executing the market strategy, driving revenue growth and establishing a strong local presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the business strategy for the Cambodian market in line with corporate objectives.
• Manage overall business performance, revenue targets and market development.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, client acquisition channels and strategic partnerships with banks, payment providers, brokers and fintech firms.
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian laws, regulations and internal policies, coordinating with legal and compliance teams.
• Oversee daily operations including client onboarding, payments, sales activities and operational support.
• Build, lead and mentor a local team, set goals, monitor performance and foster a culture of accountability.
• Strengthen the brand through localized marketing, business development activities and representation at industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in country management, business development or a senior sales leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of the Cambodian market and business environment.
• Proven track record of sales growth, market expansion and partnership development.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Good understanding of AML, KYC, compliance and risk management.
• Fluent in English and Khmer; additional languages are a plus.
