Commercial Specialist – Freight Forwarding Pricing

About the role

The Commercial Specialist (Freight Forwarding Pricing) ensures that freight rates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with market conditions. You will work closely with the shipping department and sales team to support pricing decisions and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Review orders and booking space in the system, coordinating with the shipping department to meet business needs.
• Conduct regular freight rate analysis, update price lists, and provide market feedback.
• Maintain and sort shipping line freight rates, ensuring the latest market data is available.
• Develop and expand high‑quality supplier and route resources for the company.
• Assist sales in preparing customer quotations and guide business development based on market route rates.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and perform regular accounting checks with suppliers.
• Coordinate and resolve issues that arise during cargo boarding and transportation, offering timely solutions.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in an international freight forwarding environment.
• Strong market insight, execution ability, and high sense of responsibility.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Good communication and customer‑service orientation.
