Chief Marketing & Event Officer for Golf Club

About the role

The Chief Marketing & Event Officer will join the executive team of a world‑class, 36‑hole luxury golf and lifestyle resort. The role is responsible for translating the brand into memorable member experiences, positioning the property as Southeast Asia’s premier golfing destination, and driving growth across global and high‑net‑worth local membership bases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing, PR and brand strategy, ensuring consistent brand governance across digital, on‑site and partnership channels.
• Lead digital marketing initiatives—including performance marketing, social media, content creation and web/app presence—to generate worldwide brand awareness.
• Conceptualise, plan and deliver flagship events such as professional tournaments, corporate invitationals and luxury lifestyle activations, managing budgets, sponsorships and post‑event ROI.
• Design data‑driven membership acquisition, engagement and retention programmes, creating high‑value packages and exclusive privileges for regional business leaders and elites.
• Identify and secure strategic alliances with luxury brands, tourism boards, airlines and travel agencies to enhance the venue’s offering and promote Phnom Penh as a golf tourism hub.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality or Event Management; Master’s/MBA is a plus.
• 10–12 years of progressive marketing and event leadership experience, with at least 5 years at senior director or executive level.
• Proven track record in luxury hospitality, championship golf resorts or high‑end sports/lifestyle venues.
• Experience working in Southeast Asia or emerging markets in an expatriate capacity is highly desirable.
