Assistant Manager – Finance

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Finance supports the finance team by performing complex financial, accounting and tax analyses, handling journal entries, treasury activities and both internal and external reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly and annual income tax returns, including electronic filing.
• Manage daily treasury operations and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Review and process payments as assigned by the manager.
• Prepare and post journal entries, perform reconciliations and assist with month‑end close.
• Coordinate with external tax consultants when required.
• Investigate accounting issues and ensure accurate reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Complete assigned tasks on time and contribute to departmental special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA are a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in finance, accounting and taxation.
• Experience in banking or insurance is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and tax operational systems; familiarity with Sun Accounting System is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
