Assistant Manager, Finance

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Finance will support the finance team by conducting moderately complex financial, accounting and economic analyses. You will be involved in journal entry preparation, taxation, treasury operations, payments and both internal and external reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, perform reconciliations and assist with month‑end closing.
• Handle monthly and annual tax preparation and filing, including e‑filing to the General Department of Taxation.
• Manage daily treasury activities and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Process payments as assigned and coordinate with external tax consultants when needed.
• Review reconciliations, investigate accounting issues and support financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in departmental special projects and perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting and taxation.
• Experience in banking or insurance is advantageous.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of the Sun Accounting System.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards.
