Airline Security Manager

About the role

AirAsia Cambodia is looking for an experienced Airline Security Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, monitoring and control of security operations across all stations in Cambodia. The role acts as the main liaison between AirAsia Cambodia and the local regulator, manages security policies and compliance, and serves as the Air Carrier Management Representative (ACMR).

Key responsibilities

• Keep up to date with current and upcoming legislation and ensure compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
• Manage security compliance, procedures and planning with airline personnel, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Organise risk reporting, prepare management reports and escalate issues when needed.
• Oversee the selection, training, evaluation and recommendations for security personnel, and run security awareness and formal training programmes locally and internationally.
• Analyse security trends, review inspection reports, assess threats and vulnerabilities, and respond to emergencies and crises.
• Ensure qualified security contractors are appointed and evaluated against agreed standards.
• Maintain liaison with local and international agencies and develop the annual plan and budget for the sub-department.
• Assess and audit external service providers, report breaches and non-compliance to the Chief of Security, and keep the Chief informed of regulatory changes.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of security experience in the aviation industry.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong leadership, people management and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications

• AVSEC Management and ICAO National Auditor certifications.
• ICAO Aviation Security National Instructors certification.
• Familiarity with airline business systems and processes.
