Accounting & Tax Service Officer

About the role

The Accounting & Tax Service Officer will deliver comprehensive accounting and tax compliance services to a portfolio of clients. The role involves preparing accurate bookkeeping entries, filing tax returns, and maintaining client relationships while ensuring confidentiality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collect accounting records, analyze transactions and record them using double‑entry bookkeeping.
• Prepare and submit monthly tax declarations, annual tax returns and support tax audits through the Cambodia e‑Filing system.
• Review work of junior staff, provide guidance and ensure quality of financial reports.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical client files and uphold data confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally with clients, attend meetings and provide updates on tax matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance and handling multiple client accounts.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Bookkeeping and double‑entry accounting.
• Knowledge of Cambodia taxation regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
