UX/UI & Product Design Intern

About the role

TobSar is looking for a full‑time Product Design Intern to help shape its AI sales agent platform for social commerce. You will work closely with the founder and engineering team to understand merchant needs, explore product problems, and test solutions with real users.

Key responsibilities

• Support merchant interviews, observe workflows, and gather feedback to uncover needs and frustrations.
• Map complete user journeys, from onboarding to daily use, including error handling and help scenarios.
• Create wireframes, responsive UI designs, and interactive Figma prototypes.
• Test prototypes with merchants, identify usability issues, and iterate designs based on feedback.
• Prepare design handoffs, explain interactions, and review implemented features with developers.
• Contribute reusable components and maintain consistent typography, spacing, colors, and interaction patterns.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles, visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and responsive design.
• Ability to explain design choices, consider alternatives, and incorporate feedback.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and commitment to completing agreed tasks.
• Fluency in Khmer for merchant communication and English for team collaboration.
• Availability to work full‑time for the entire 4‑month internship.

Required skills

• Figma (components, interactive prototypes).
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or frontend development.
