About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Sorter to join our UPS warehouse team. In this role you will handle the flow of packages, ensuring they are loaded, unloaded, scanned, sorted and stocked efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload UPS packages from trailers and package cars.
- Ship, receive, scan, sort and stock packages according to UPS procedures.
- Operate heavy machinery when required to move pallets and containers.
- Follow UPS package handling methods and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors in a high‑speed setting.
Required profile
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lb (32 kg) repeatedly.
- Capability to read and memorize postal codes.
- Flexibility to work varying shift hours up to five days per week.
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
Required skills
- Heavy machinery operation.
