About the role
As a Sorter at UPS you will be part of a fast‑paced warehouse team responsible for moving packages through the shipping network. You will load, unload, scan, sort and stock parcels, ensuring they are ready for timely delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload UPS packages from trailers and package cars.
- Receive, scan, sort and stock parcels according to UPS handling procedures.
- Operate heavy machinery when required to move large or heavy items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in a high‑volume environment.
Required profile
- Ability to lift up to 70 lb (32 kg) safely.
- Capability to read and memorize postal codes.
- Flexibility to work varying shift schedules up to five days per week.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
Required skills
- Heavy machinery operation.
