Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will support the sourcing, purchasing and customs clearance of goods and services for the company. This role works closely with internal departments, suppliers and transport agents to ensure timely delivery and compliance with procurement policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market exploration for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms to ensure suitability.
• Obtain supplier quotes, perform quote analysis and prepare documentation for management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to monitor order status and resolve issues such as defects or returns.
• Update and maintain supplier, price and contact databases.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders and service contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipment and customs clearance activities.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in line with retention schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Knowledge of procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Strong teamwork abilities in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.
