Operations Data Engineer

About the role

The Operations Data Engineer will support the procurement and logistics function by analysing supplier data, managing purchase requests and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The role bridges market research, supplier coordination and customs clearance to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in exploring new markets for goods and services and reviewing specifications, delivery and payment conditions.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analyses and secure management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and resolve issues such as defects or returns.
• Update and maintain supplier, price and contact databases.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipment and clearance activities.
• Prepare and issue quotations, purchase orders and service contracts for departmental approval.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, technical specifications, and Cambodian tax provisions.
• Strong teamwork, negotiation and analytical abilities in a multicultural environment.
• English proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
