Senior IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to teachers, staff, students, and management within an educational environment. You will lead the support team, ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure, and uphold security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for hardware, software, network, email, and system issues.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, repairs, and solutions.
• Guide users on proper use of IT systems and equipment.
• Supervise junior IT staff, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
• Manage and secure wired and wireless networks, including MikroTik routers, managed switches, access points, and firewalls.
• Monitor network access, user permissions, and implement security measures.
• Oversee data backup and recovery procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT support, network or system administration.
• Previous experience supervising or leading an IT team (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, Windows systems, and common business applications.
• Experience in an educational or training center environment is an advantage.
