Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our DevOps team and ensure a reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery pipeline for our digital banking channels. The role combines hands‑on technical work with leadership, overseeing CI/CD, release management, and production stability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise the DevOps team, assigning work and ensuring delivery quality.
• Define, document and enforce DevOps standards, procedures and controls across the software development lifecycle.
• Build, maintain and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for applications, services and APIs.
• Plan and manage releases and deployments with zero‑downtime and proper change‑control processes.
• Ensure consistent environment management across DEV, UAT and PROD, including configuration, access and secrets.
• Monitor production systems to guarantee high availability, performance and reliability.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage container platforms and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, business teams and vendors to deliver secure and compliant solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, systems operations or infrastructure support.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, CI/CD or platform operations.
• Proven experience leading a team or acting as a senior/lead engineer.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience in a banking or financial services environment is a plus.
