Production Specialist – Food Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Specialist will work on‑site in Phnom Penh supporting a food factory’s manufacturing operations. The role focuses on monitoring production processes, ensuring product quality and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to maintain high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily production workflows and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance and maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Implement and improve standard operating procedures and support new product introductions.
• Prepare regular reports on production performance and maintain regulatory compliance (HACCP, ISO, GMP).
• Work with management to optimise efficiency and product consistency.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, factory operations and production workflows.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene practices and standards such as HACCP, ISO and GMP.
• Ability to analyse production data, identify improvements and support corrective actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in a food factory or manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.
