Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will lead end‑to‑end purchasing activities for Chip Mong Cement Corporation’s manufacturing operations in Phnom Penh. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that raw materials, services and equipment are sourced efficiently, cost‑effectively and in line with the company’s quality and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers, request and evaluate quotations, and negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Prepare, review and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and compliance with quality and cost requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand material and service needs and support inventory control.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, ethical purchasing practices and sustainability objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical ability to assess supplier performance, cost structures and market trends.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
