F&B Supervisor - Mandarin Speaking

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will support daily operations of the hotel’s F&B outlets, ensuring smooth service and high guest satisfaction. The role requires confident communication with Mandarin‑speaking guests and the ability to lead and develop a service team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily F&B operations to ensure efficient service.
• Lead, coach and motivate F&B attendants and other team members.
• Communicate effectively with Mandarin‑speaking guests, colleagues and business partners.
• Handle guest requests, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Monitor service quality, cleanliness, grooming and hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other hotel departments for seamless operations.
• Assist with staff training, briefings and performance development.
• Support inventory control, equipment handling and proper use of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards and F&B procedures.
• Assist management with promotions, events and other operational activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of F&B service experience, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Previous supervisory or team‑leadership experience is an advantage.
• Fluent Mandarin speaking and communication skills; good command of English.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
