Aftersales Manager – Service & Workshop Operations

About the role

The Aftersales Manager will lead daily service administration and workshop operations, ensuring efficient customer reception, repair order processing, and vehicle delivery while maintaining high quality and compliance with manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise service administration, workshop capacity, technician productivity, and turnaround times.
• Control repair orders, estimates, invoices, warranty documentation, and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, Finance, and Sales to guarantee smooth workflow.
• Monitor workshop KPIs such as labor utilization, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer complaints, warranty claims, recalls, and manufacturer service requirements.
• Oversee parts requirements, tool and equipment safety, and workshop cost control.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Service Administration and Workshop teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in automotive aftersales, service or workshop operations, preferably in a dealership or authorized service centre.
• Previous supervisory or management experience with proven ability to lead technicians and service staff.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle service, repair processes and workshop KPIs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with automotive DMS/ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
