Senior Project Manager APAC

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver engineering projects across the APAC region from our office in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The role combines technical expertise with commercial and operational responsibilities to ensure projects are profitable, high‑quality and meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical production and billable services, preparing deliverables, coordinating internal and external experts, and optimizing solutions for technical and financial performance.
• Manage project implementation according to schedules, budgets and contractual terms, overseeing teams of engineers, consultants and local partners, and handling invoicing, reporting and compliance with quality, health‑safety and environmental standards.
• Organise and chair progress meetings with clients, donors and partners, and supervise field assignments including mobilisation, logistics and deliverable production.
• Support business development by preparing technical and financial proposals, identifying new opportunities aligned with regional priorities, and maintaining project references and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in water, wastewater, environmental or civil engineering, infrastructure or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in engineering consultancy and project management.
• Proven technical expertise in one or more sectors such as water supply, wastewater, environment, urban infrastructure, climate resilience or transport.
• Experience delivering internationally funded projects (World Bank, ADB, EU, etc.) and familiarity with donor procedures and consultancy contracts.
• Ability to prepare technical and financial proposals is an advantage.
