Senior Officer, Native Developer

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to head our Native Mobile Unit. The role combines technical ownership of Android and iOS applications with architecture, performance optimisation and team mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical direction, architecture reviews, code reviews and mentoring for Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) developers.
• Own end‑to‑end lifecycle of mobile apps, including security, build, release and production support.
• Design hybrid or partial‑native solutions with WebView integration, JavaScript bridges, native plugins and API communication.
• Lead optimisation of cold‑start, memory usage, network handling, crash rates and Android ANRs.
• Implement robust dynamic content download, caching, resumable downloads, integrity validation and rollback mechanisms.
• Ensure app stability under poor network conditions and safe recovery from interrupted updates.
• Govern compatibility and release sequencing across platforms, web content, backend APIs and third‑party SDKs.
• Manage build configurations, signing, certificates, provisioning, CI/CD pipelines and releases to Google Play, Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery.
• Investigate production incidents using logs, Firebase Crashlytics, Android profiling tools and Xcode Instruments, leading root‑cause analysis.
• Establish native development standards for architecture, security, testing, versioning and release governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least five years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Hands‑on commercial experience with Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift).
• Deep expertise in one native platform and solid capability in the other for code review and architecture evaluation.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams.
