Senior Large Business Loan Officer (Commercial Lending)

About the role

The Senior Large Business Loan Officer will lead the acquisition, assessment and management of large corporate loan portfolios for the branch. The role combines client relationship building, credit underwriting, and post‑disbursement monitoring to ensure loan quality and portfolio health.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new large‑business loan clients while maintaining existing relationships.
• Collect, verify and analyse financial statements, credit histories and other documentation to assess loan eligibility.
• Conduct on‑site visits to evaluate business operations, collateral and loan purpose.
• Prepare detailed credit appraisal reports and financial analyses for senior approval.
• Execute loan contracts, arrange timely disbursements and monitor repayment performance.
• Perform regular post‑disbursement reviews, enforce covenants and manage delinquent accounts.
• Collaborate with credit teams to ensure compliance with policy and risk limits.
• Stay updated on new loan products and provide cross‑selling recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in business banking or large‑business lending with a proven track record.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
