Senior Information Security Analyst

About the role

The Senior Information Security Analyst will join ABA Bank’s IT security team in Phnom Penh, monitoring and responding to security events across the bank’s systems, networks and applications. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on protecting the bank’s assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and continuously improving the security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and respond to security incidents using SIEM and other monitoring tools.
• Conduct risk assessments and coordinate vulnerability management activities.
• Support implementation and maintenance of security controls, firewalls, IDS/IPS and endpoint protection.
• Collaborate with IT, operations and business units to design secure systems and applications.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures and compliance documentation (ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
• Lead security awareness initiatives and produce reports for management and auditors.
• Participate in security projects, solution testing and continuous improvement efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related field (preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or CompTIA Security+ (advantageous).
• Experience in banking or financial services environments and familiarity with regional regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with clear communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
