Report Development Officer

About the role

The Report Development Officer will design and maintain business intelligence reports that streamline daily workflows for bank users. This role combines data engineering, reporting, and security responsibilities within the bank's head office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop BI reports based on user criteria and requirements.
• Create database objects such as functions, packages, stored procedures, and perform data mining.
• Provide ad‑hoc reports and data extracts for internal and external requestors.
• Handle confidential information in line with information security policies.
• Strengthen data security, integrity, access restrictions, and audit logging.
• Support end‑users, produce documentation, manuals, and procedures.
• Ensure reporting system availability and perform performance tuning.
• Oversee BI tools, resolve related issues, and provide ongoing support.
• Research and develop new features in BI, data analytics, data warehousing, and big‑data technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with programming languages like VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, or PHP.
• Understanding of general accounting principles and banking workflows is a plus.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to learn new software systems.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently within a team.
