QA & Software Tester – Functional & API Testing

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic QA & Software Tester to join our R&D team. You will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our multi‑layered platform, which includes web applications, mobile apps, and backend processing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and execute comprehensive test plans, test matrices and end‑to‑end testing strategies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to translate functional requirements into detailed test scenarios and cases.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date a Master Test Book containing step‑by‑step scripts, regression suites and expected results.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and UI testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Validate data processing workflows, pipelines and backend logs for accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct API testing of RESTful services using tools such as Postman.
• Identify, document, track and verify software defects with clear, reproducible bug reports.
• Assist with basic load and stress testing using tools like Apache JMeter.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Hands‑on experience testing web applications (cross‑browser) and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• Familiarity with Agile workflows, SDLC/STLC and version‑control systems (GitHub or GitLab).
• Strong SQL skills for querying and validating relational databases.
• Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python or JavaScript is a plus.
