People Development Manager

About the role

The People Development Manager will design, implement and oversee people development and employee engagement strategies that build capabilities, leadership pipelines, culture and commitment aligned with business goals. This role partners with HR and functional leaders to drive continuous learning and talent growth across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and create a comprehensive learning and development plan.
• Manage the Garment Academy and other functional/technical learning programs.
• Design and deliver Leadership Development Programs for various management levels.
• Promote digital learning and a culture of continuous development.
• Apply the 70:20:10 development model and evaluate learning effectiveness.
• Lead talent review, succession planning, and identify key positions and successors.
• Develop career paths and Individual Development Plans (IDPs) with managers and HR.
• Run Young Talent Development Programs to build future talent pipelines.
• Oversee employee engagement surveys, recognition programs, culture initiatives, and core competency projects.
• Manage internal communications related to people, culture and engagement.
• Control budgets, vendor relationships and KPIs for development and engagement programs.
• Utilise people analytics to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Development, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in people development, organizational development or employee engagement, with management responsibility; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Fluent English with strong facilitation abilities.
