Merchant Payment Support Officer

About the role

The Merchant Payment Support Officer ensures smooth operation of merchant services across the bank’s branch network. You will verify merchant requests, maintain the Merchant Management System, and provide timely solutions to disputes and operational issues.

Key responsibilities

• Check and verify merchant requests, updating information in the Merchant Management System promptly.
• Support branch operations related to the Merchant Management System, assisting with disputes and delivering sustainable solutions.
• Coordinate with branches to ensure proper printing of client materials.
• Monitor merchant performance and generate management reports.
• Participate in SIT/UAT testing for new products and services.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in merchant payment support.
• Strong knowledge of merchant services and digital banking features.
• Excellent English communication skills (speaking, writing, listening).
• Professionalism, discretion, accountability, and a commitment to high‑quality work.
• Analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently to branch offices.
