Insurance Expert

About the role

This hourly, remote contractor position involves acting as an Insurance Subject Matter Expert to review and create AI‑generated insurance content, ensuring accuracy, compliance and clear reasoning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and gold‑standard outputs for coverage analysis, claims scenarios, underwriting decisions and policy communication.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve correctness, completeness, clarity and compliance‑aware reasoning.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, misleading guidance, inappropriate certainty and bias, and validate reliability across use cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Law or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in insurance (claims, underwriting, brokerage, actuarial support, risk management, compliance or operations).
• Strong understanding of insurance fundamentals, policy structure, endorsements, limits, deductibles and coverage triggers.
• Ability to evaluate decisions for internal consistency and identify missing facts, incorrect assumptions or unsafe recommendations.

Required skills

• Minimum C1 English proficiency.
• Clear written communication to explain complex policy concepts in plain language.
