Medium Business Loan Supervisor

About the role

The Medium Business Loan Supervisor leads a team of loan officers to achieve loan targets while ensuring compliance with credit policies and high service quality. This role involves end‑to‑end loan assessment, customer orientation, and portfolio quality management at the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Branch.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise medium business loan staff, design schedules, assign duties and conduct performance reviews.
• Promote medium business loan products, conduct customer orientations and site visits for collateral verification.
• Verify client documents, assess collateral value, and detect fraud.
• Manage late payments and defaults, providing methodologies for rescheduling and restructuring.
• Collaborate with the loan recovery team to ensure successful recoveries.
• Drive individual performance through regular pipeline meetings and monitor productivity.
• Handle complex customer issues, provide feedback to improve branch policies, and act as a role model for a speak‑up culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or related field.
• Minimum three years of banking experience with a strong loan‑granting track record.
• Demonstrated team leadership and management abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of branch operations, credit risk management and relevant regulations.
• Excellent sales, negotiation and customer relationship skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use bank‑specific software.
• Financial statement analysis and credit evaluation.
